Mobile Device Registration


Columbia College supports the use of Apple mobile devices (i.e. Macintosh, iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad etc.), Android, Blackberry, and Windows Mobile devices (i.e. phones, laptops, etc.) to connect to campus services, such as email and the Wireless Cougar Net network.  

We use department resources to configure your mobile device or manually register mobile devices that are not automatically registered via the Bradford Dissolvable agent (I.E. smartphones, iPad, Kindle, etc.)

Services are free to all staff, faculty and students. Guests also may be registered for a limited time when a part of a scheduled college-sponsored event on campus.

Estimated Delivery Time

Services are provided immediately after registration and may be provided via walk-in to Technology Services or via phone at ext. 4357 to the HelpDesk.

Supporting Documentation

Helpdesk personnel will require the mobile devices' MAC addresses. The location varies dependent upon the device used. If unable to locate your MAC address, please contact the elpdesk at ext. 4357 for assistance.

Personal laptops are automatically registered via If unable automatically register your laptop, please ensure an Antivirus application is installed on the device and/or contact the helpdesk at ext. 4357 for assistance.
