Investigate Suspicious Activity for Users

Overview/Description

If a user feels their computer or account has been unrightfully accessed — either physically or electronically — the security engineer will investigate the problem and assess the situation, advising the user of the status, assisting the user with securing their information and data as needed.

This service will receive a high priority, and the request is typically completed within one business day.

Policies

This service can be requested by contacting the Solutions Center by walk-in, by phone at extension 4357, by emailing CCHelpDesk@ccis.edu, or by using the Technology Services Self-help Portal. Once this request has been made, it will be forwarded to the security engineer for resolution.
