Dr. David Karr

David KarrDr. Karr joined the faculty at Columbia College in the fall of 2007, and is responsible for the majority of European history courses at the Day campus. Dr. Karr brings a mix of instructional methods to the classroom, including student-driven discussions of primary and secondary readings, art, and music from a given period, as well as lectures and other forms of presentation.

Teaching areas include European, Middle Eastern, and world history; research interests include British radicalism, the British-Australian criminal transportation system, and the politics of 18th-century British theater.
