Fishman Center for Entrepreneurship

Columbia College students have the opportunity to present new ideas at the annual Student Pitch Competition, which includes a top prize of $5,000. The top pitches are selected to work with coaches to develop a business plan prior to the competition.

You’ll also benefit from the Fishman Center for Entrepreneurship, which provides resources, mentorships and opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Built in 2019, New Hall houses the Robert W. Plaster School of Business. The first floor includes six classrooms with the latest educational technology and mobile furniture to allow for flexible seating. The first floor also includes event space, study areas and faculty offices. The top three floors house 150 students in suite-style rooms.

New Hall also has an outdoor terrace extending from the entrance of the building to the border of R. Marvin Owens field.
