Transfer work experience to Columbia College

We award academic credit for work experiences, professional licensure and military training at Columbia College.

As long as you complete at least 60 credit hours through traditional college coursework, you may earn the remaining required credits through traditional or non-traditional sources.

    Columbia College grants credit for non-traditional learning experiences such as technical training, professional licensure and certification.

    In addition to training, Columbia College awards credit for serving in the military. Military Experience (ME) credit is based on a student’s length of service and rank.
